Casey Brown

Inspired by his time spent in Middle Tennessee on school exchange programs two years running, Casey Brown's songwriting and story telling has strong connections to Nashville sounds. Developing his passion for country music from his Grandfather on the family farm in South East Queensland, Casey loves being on stages small and large with his trusted acoustic guitar and harmonica, sharing both covers and originals with his audience.

 

Finalist in the 2025 and 2026 country music stars competition, and recipient of a 2026 Special Judges Award at the National Busking Championships in Stanthorpe, Casey is also a recent graduate of the Academy of Country Music, where he had the opportunity to work on songwriting with award winning artists Amber Lawrence, Sarah Buckley and Lyn Bowtell.

 

Casey has been attending the Tamworth Country music festival for over a decade, and was proud to perform on the Toyota tailgate stage during the 2026 festival.

 

Casey's original songs, including “Love you like a country song” released in 2026, are inspired by both modern American country artists like Riley Green and Jason Aldean, and 90's artists like Alan Jackson and George Strait.

 

Redland city based, Casey will be opening for Australian Idol runner up Harlan Goode at Redfest in September.
